Design hardware with an AI agent that simulates every step
voltrace.ai is where you design circuits and systems together with an AI agent. You give a project its requirements; the agent proposes a design, simulates it, measures it against each requirement, and keeps working until they are met, or tells you why they cannot be. You can follow each session: its reasoning, the circuits it tries and what it measures.
The VibeSPICE Engine
What designs underneath is the VibeSPICE Engine. It drives a language model that runs on SumValue's own servers, so no third-party AI provider sees your designs, and it checks every step with ngspice, a SPICE circuit simulator: each number in a result comes from a simulation, never from the model's memory. It works in three stages:
- System: a block diagram in Python that says what each block must do, before any circuit exists.
- Circuit: the circuit in ngspice, with ideal parts first and real ones after.
- Worst case: where the circuit stops meeting its requirements: tolerances, parasitics, temperature, transients.
Boards with discrete components come first; analog and digital chips and FPGAs, later.
